I know I previously posted that I would be silent and listening to all the voices who need to be heard, but I really wanted to come on here to say I am listening to a workbook called “me and white supremacy” by Layla Sadd. It is incredibly eye opening. At the end of each day there are prompt questions for you to answer openly and honestly. They make you think, they challenge you and most of all it makes you uncomfortable. A place we — I need to be to grow, learn and do better so I can be better. Layla calls you out. As I listen, I mentally say “that’s not me” and she calls me out for why that’s not good enough. If you are wanting to put in work, answer the questions and be uncomfortable with the honest truth, this book is a great place to start.
